If you were driving to work and saw a raccoon scampering along with a tin can covering its head, what would you do? Look, feel concern, and continue driving? Would you call 911 or someone else for help? Perhaps you would pretend you didn’t see the animal in pain, blind, and hurting. Would you do what so many people do today and simply ignore the problem?

Or would you allow your heart to follow its calling and grow strong with courage and faith to assist the wild animal? It’s hard to say what any one of us would do, but if my path crosses this scenario, I hope to do exactly what a young lady, Jenny, did when she lived this experience many years ago.
