Hi, my name is Jennifer, and I am a master's prepared registered and licensed dietitian. I have over 15 years of experience as a dietitian, am a health advocate, and I am passionate about your health, nutrition, and happiness. I believe that there is no such thing as a one-size fits all approach to health and fitness nor are there any quick fixes or fad diets that offer long-term success.


That's why I customize your program around what you struggle with, your unique needs, goals, food relationships, time constraints, etc. 

My goal is to help people get and stay their healthiest! I guide you on your health journey through counseling and by developing custom meal plans, exercise programs and steering individuals toward a healthy, joyous lifestyle and by breaking mental barriers that often keep us stuck.

Learn, implement, and grow! As a registered dietitian, I provide evidence-based balanced nutrition education to help you achieve your goals. No fad diets or quick fixes here! Learn everything you need to be successful including: personalized meal plans, food label reading, Mediterranean or plant style-based eating, gut health and more. Whether you need to lose weight, manage a health condition, or need a reset to get back on track to healthier eating, you've come to the right place:)

EXERCISE

Body composition and metabolic setpoint is my focus! Whether you exercise at home, a health club or the great outdoors, I will help devise an exercise program/routine that is right for you and your specific needs to improve strength, fitness and sports performance. We will exercise together or I will show you exercises that meet you where you are at, are safe, and will bring you joy.

OK, let's face it, many of us know what to do but we just don't do what we know we should. Heck, I've gained and lost 60 pounds while studying to be a dietitian. I will help you get on track and stay motivated & inspired to continue on your journey for your lifetime. We will focus on realistic goal setting, stress management techniques, overcoming barriers, developing a constructive mindset, and, if needed, hone in on emotional and compulsive eating behaviors that can keep us trapped into vicious cycles (dieting, sugar addiction, and compulsive/emotional eating).

For many people who are trying to achieve a healthy weight, losing pounds is often a small part of a larger problem. Why  we eat can be just as important as to what and how much we eat. Old wounds & habits can lead to a numbness, compulsion, or addiction to food. By addressing and healing these issues, people can discover more constructive, non-food-based ways of coping with stress and emotions. This naturally helps the pounds come off. Moving away from obsessions with weight & food and toward a mindful awareness to the motivations behind our eating patterns, we can build a positive self-image and develop better health.


This book/workbook offers principles, and tools to develop a sustainable, healthy relationship with food rather than a fear of over eating. Worksheets help readers discover and acknowledge personal barriers, rooted behaviors, and emotional associations that affect how they use food.

Hi, I am the founder of Lifestyle Nutrition and Wellness, LLC. I am a master's prepared, licensed, and registered dietitian with certifications from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in adult and pediatric weight management. I worked in the clinical setting for 9 years helping individuals manage various disease states such as diabetes, obesity, heart disease, Crohn's disease, Celiac disease, and autoimmune conditions. 


In 2001, I created, implemented and directed a multi-factorial weight loss program for a large hospital organization, Ascension (formerly St. John Health System), in Michigan. I am happy to say, the program is going strong today. Since then, I have committed my career to building weight loss and wellness programs that are designed to help individuals, families, and groups  achieve numerous health & wellness goals.
